The BBC has released new pictures of the second instalment of A Good Girls Guide to Murder, ahead of its return to the BBC later this year. Based on the bestselling novels by Holly Jackson, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is produced by Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios (The Gentlemen, The Famous Five, Bodies) in a co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo who will air the series outside of the UK.

After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout – and stay away from any more investigations. But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.

It’s all systems go as new pictures reveal Pip (Emma Myers) and her friends back on the pursuit. With Jamie (Eden H Davies) missing and time running out, the pictures reveal Pip, Ravi (Zain Iqbal), Cara (Asha Banks), Lauren (Yali Topol Margalith), and Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie) reunited, unravelling new secrets, leads, and mysteries. And as Pip prepares to face Max (Henry Ashton) in court, his cousin Robin (Freddie England) starts dating Lauren, becoming a controversial new member of their friendship group.

The first series of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was a big hit for the BBC when it premiered in Summer 2024, becoming one of BBC iPlayer’s most watched titles with 16-24 years old and BBC Three’s highest rating drama since its relaunch.

Series two will premiere on the BBC and, outside of the UK and Ireland, on Netflix where available. In Germany, Australia and Switzerland it will be available exclusively on ZDFneo. In Australia it will be exclusively on Stan. BBC Studios is handling global sales.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series two is coming to BBC iPlayer, BBC One and BBC Three in 2026.
