Though he might be best known for his role as Ethan Hunt, and for his dedication to reinventing the cinema spectacle and preserving the theatrical experience, Tom Cruise’s career is rich with versatility.

From his arrival in Hollywood, he proved himself an actor with a remarkable instinct for excellent scripts, working with greats such as Scorsese, Spielberg, Mann and Kubrick, and taking on a wide range of roles, from lovable sports agent Jerry Maguire to his manipulative pick-up artist in Magnolia. His career is one defined by dedication to his craft, whether that’s spending a year preparing for Born on the Fourth of July, learning Japanese for The Last Samurai, or mastering speed-flying for Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Collaborators such as Glen Powell and Samantha Morton have praised his exuberance, work ethic and generosity. Throughout all his different cinematic adventures, Tom Cruise has consistently remained a man committed to giving you the best time at the movies.
