What to watch in Week 40

Too many dating and reality shows on the box? How about something to cleanse the palette? Portrait Artist of the Year 2025 is coming to Sky Arts and NOW.

Portrait Artist of the Year returns for its 12th edition, as another set of brilliant artists take on the challenge of capturing a veritable rogue’s gallery of famous faces in pursuit of the top prize – a commission from a leading exhibitor worth £10,000. Amongst those sitting for the promising artists this year will be James May, Clara Amfo, Jack Dee, Tim Peake, Mary Berry and many more.
In our opening round, our first batch of artists will be tasked with capturing The One Show host Alex Jones, award-winning singer-songwriter Yungblud, and star of We Might Regret This Kyla Harris.
