Netflix Celebrates the Launch of Troll 2
- To celebrate the highly anticipated launch of Troll 2, Netflix will transform the iconic Holmenkollen skyline with a spectacular light show on Monday evening, November 24 – following the World Premiere at Colosseum Cinema.
- The event promises to immerse audiences in the enchanting world of Troll 2, bringing the magic of the Norwegian wilderness to life in a way never seen before. This extraordinary display will illuminate the night sky above Holmenkollen, combining cutting-edge technology and artistry to celebrate the return of Norway’s most legendary creature. The show is a tribute to the rich folklore and breathtaking landscapes that inspired Troll 2, and is designed to be enjoyed by fans and families across Oslo.
- Director Roar Uthaug shares his excitement: “Trolls have always belonged to the mountains and forests of Norway, and now, for one magical night, our majestic troll will rise at the top of Holmenkollen. We wanted to give audiences an experience that blurs the line between myth and reality – just like our film. I can’t wait to see how the city reacts when our troll comes out to play!”
- A total of 600 synchronized drones will take to the skies, with every detail meticulously planned and all necessary permits secured to ensure a seamless and safe experience for everyone in attendance.
