BBC Dominates at NTA 2023

The BBC led the way at the National Television Awards 2023, winning 9 out of 16 audience awards.

The tally includes three awards for EastEnders including Serial Drama, Rising Star for actor Bobby Brazier and Serial Drama Performance for Danielle Harold; two for Happy Valley – Returning Drama and Drama Performance; and wins for The Traitors, The Repair Shop, Strictly Come Dancing and The Graham Norton Show. Congratulations also go to Sarah Lancashire who was honoured with the Special Recognition Award.

Charlotte Moore, BBC Chief Content Officer, says: “What an incredible night. To win in so many categories is a credit to all the extraordinary actors, presenters and programme makers that we work with, many congratulations to all of them. The breadth of programming voted for by viewers demonstrates the strength of the BBC across multiple genres and we are proud to have brought such high quality programming to audiences over the last year.”
