For the week that ended on September 16th, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse remained atop both the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts in its second week. The sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse finds Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy traveling across the multiverse and meeting the Spider-Society, and it began development even before the first film was released and became a breakout hit back in 2018. Like its predecessor, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse was both a critical and commercial success, earning positive reviews from both critics and audiences and grossing over $381 million domestically and $689 million worldwide, so far. This week, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse had an impressive HD share of 78%, with 29% of units sold from the 4K UHD format.

Now, five years later, Warner revisted Batman: Mask of the Phantasm for its 30th anniversary, granting it both a 4K scan and a 4K UHD release with HDR, as well as both the original DTS-HD MA 2.0 audio track and a brand new DTS-HD MA 5.1 mix. Additionally, the film got its first bonus content, as a new featurette celebrating Kevin Conroy, the beloved voice actor of Batman who passed away in 2022, was included on the 4K UHD disc. This week, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm sold 26% as many Blu-ray units as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, with a perfect HD share of 100% and 99.58% of units sold from the 4K UHD format….
