The James Bond star talks to Mark Kermode about his career in acting, from a standout early role as Francis Bacon’s muse in Love is the Devil, to working with Spielberg on Road to Perdition, to the recent Knives Out murder mystery films, in which Craig plays the ebullient detective Benoit Blanc. This interview was recorded around the release of Queer, Craig’s collaboration with Luca Guadagnino, in which he plays the writer William S. Burroughs.
