Daredevil: Born Again takes the superhero in a new direction

Matt Murdock will have to fight Kingpin with more than just his fists in Daredevil: Born Again.

The upcoming Disney+ series will see Charlie Cox’s blind superhero plunged headfirst into a brand new world that requires him to utilize both his physical and mental strengths, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television and Animation Brad Winderbaum has revealed.

“Daredevil is incredible. It’s similar in some ways to X-Men ’97, because it’s reviving something that the fans love, but it is taking it in a new direction,” he explained on Wednesday’s episode of the Official Marvel Podcast. “These characters have matured. The universe is different than it was. Things have changed. Society’s changed.”…
