Sky Original | Retribution

Strap yourselves in as the official trailer is released for Sky Original film Retribution starring Liam Neeson (Taken), an immersive ticking clock thriller from the producers of Non-Stop and The Commuter.

The film also stars Noma Dumezweni (The Little Mermaid), Lilly Aspell (Wonder Woman: 1984), Jack Champion (Avatar: The Way of Water), Embeth Davidtz (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Matthew Modine (Stranger Things).

Matt Turner (Liam Neeson) is a successful Berlin based American businessman juggling a booming financial career with family responsibility.  Driving his kids to school one morning, Matt receives a phone call from a mysterious voice: there’s a bomb under his seat that will detonate unless he completes a specific series of tasks, and fast.  Trapped in their car in a high-speed chase across the city, Matt must follow the stranger’s increasingly dangerous instructions in a race against time to protect his family and solve the mystery that plays out over the course of one day.

Directed by Nimród Antal, written by Alberto Marini, with a screenplay by Christopher Salmanpour, Retribution is and based on the film El Desconocido.  Producers include Andrew Rona, Alex Heineman and Jaume Collet-Serra Juan Sola.  The film is produced by STUDIOCANAL, The Picture Company and Ombra Films in coproduction with TF1 Films Production Studio Babelsberg with the participation of Canal+, Cine+, TF1, and TMC.

The film will be released on Sky Cinema, on streaming service NOW and in cinemas this autumn.
