The Divorce Insurance Main Trailer Revealed
SINGAPORE— March 17, 2025 — Upcoming Korean rom-com series The Divorce Insurance dives into unprecedented waters with the premise of divorce insurance. The story focuses on a team setting out to create a divorce insurance product that can protect everyone’s future. Starring popular stars Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-been, Lee Kwang-soo and Lee Da-hee, the show tells the story of those who have been divorce and now are ready to discover love again. The new trailer for the show, dropping today, asks the question, “Is there an insurance policy to keep you happy for the rest of your life?”. Prime Video customers in more than 240 countries and territories, can watch weekly episodes of The Divorce Insurance on Mondays and Tuesdays from March 31.
The series follows the team’s creation of a divorce insurance product, designed to address one of the most pressing concerns of modern times—divorce. The trailer offers a sneak peek at the office rom-com set in an insurance company’s product development team, including the main character Ki-jun who is very passionate about creating a divorce insurance product.
Lee Dong-wook takes on the role of No Ki-jun, an insurance actuary at Plus Insurance’s innovative product development team. Having been married and divorced three separate times, Ki-jun is well-experienced when it comes to divorce. His familiarity with it has inspired him to create a divorce insurance product to help people like himself.
Lee Joo-been plays Kang Han-deul, an insurance underwriter who undergoes a transformation through her own divorce. Equipped with a quirky and cheerful personality, she joins Ki-jun’s divorce insurance development team, gradually gaining courage to move forward while navigating a new relationship with Ki-jun.
Lee Kwang-soo portrays An Jeon-man, a risk surveyor who prioritizes safety above all else. Though he appears cool and composed on the outside, he is actually quite timid. As he navigates the challenges of developing divorce insurance, he embarks on the biggest adventure of his life.
Lee Da-hee transforms into Jeon Na-rae, a financial mathematician who views the world purely through an investment lens. Confident in all of her life decisions, she joins Ki-jun’s team as a special quantitative consultant. However, as time goes by, her perspective on life begins to change.
The Divorce Insurance will be streaming on Prime Video with subtitles in 26 languages and dubbing in 10 languages at launch. The Divorce Insurance is produced by KT Studio Genie, MongJakSo and Mondo Studio.
