This week on iPlayer we return to Dublin as the Kinsellas are back in the new series of hit Irish drama Kin, plus speaking of drama, we’re following eight wannabe actors as they join comedian Bill Bailey for new reality show Bring the Drama.
In true stories this week, we’re exploring the UK’s hidden side in the new series of Drugs Map of Britain, following chef Rick Stein across the country as he tells Rick Stein’s Food Stories, and finding out about the 2003 Colombia space shuttle disaster in The Space Shuttle That Fell To Earth.
And there’s brilliant live sport this week, with Nigeria taking on hosts Ivory Coast in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations, and live Snooker in the Welsh Open.

Bring the Drama
New series opening up the world of screen drama to eight people who have always dreamt of becoming professional actors but have never had the opportunity. Hosted by actor and comedian Bill Bailey, eight aspiring actors are mentored over six weeks by renowned casting director Kelly Valentine Hendry as they fulfil their TV dream on set of some of the UK’s most loved dramas.
Drugs Map of Britain
Second series of the show that cuts through the headlines to explore the real world of users and dealers in the UK today. The new series explores Viagra, THC Vapes, Monkey Dust, and Crack.

The Space Shuttle That Fell to Earth
Documentary combining first-hand testimony with previously unseen archive to chart the in-depth story of the Columbia space shuttle tragedy in 2003, when the shuttle disintegrated during re-entry to Earth.

New 15-part series following Rick Stein as he embarks on a mouth-watering cookery pilgrimage around the UK to explore what we all like to eat today. From farm to fork, he explores age-old traditions and modern tastes across the country, including visits to the Lake District, Argyll, Belfast, The Gower Peninsula, Bristol, Yorkshire and many other incredible locations.

Africa Cup of Nations
The biggest competition in African football comes to a head as Nigeria take on the hosts Ivory Coast in Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan for the final of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Snooker: Welsh Open
Live coverage from the Welsh Open snooker tournament. Last year saw Robert Milkins capture the second ranking title of his career with a hard-fought victory over Shaun Murphy in the final.
This year, the tournament returns to Venue Cymru in Llandudno, where, over the next seven days, the world’s top players will contest the 2024 Welsh Open title. With four tables in play, matches will be coming thick and fast, with day one action featuring Robert Milkins, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Williams.
