The disappearance of Ocean Pioneer I leads International Rescue into a myriad of mysteries. An investigation by Brains reveals the Liquid Alsterene carried aboard the tanker becomes volatile when in contact with OD/60, a substance in the ocean directly in the path of Ocean Pioneer II, Worse yet, the mix sends off high impedance waves which can interfere with radio signals.
