This documentary chronicles the journey sports professionals have to traverse to compete at the highest level. Timothby LeDuc and Ashley Cain-Gribble are currently participating in the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships.
Four world-class athletes– two American Champions and two Russian Olympic medalists–travel to Japan to work with a world-renowned figure-skating coach. The grueling training draws out their inspirational stories about the serious injuries, body shaming and social prejudices they had to overcome on their journey back to the top. Despite the political climate and being direct competitors, the four form a profound friendship on their way to redemption.
