Germanwings: What Happened on Flight 9525?

On March 24, 2015, Germanwings Flight 9525 crashed in the French Alps enroute from Barcelona to Düsseldorf. All 150 passengers and crew members were killed. Shortly thereafter, the French public prosecutor’s office determined that the co-pilot deliberately crashed the plane. Ten years after the disaster, however, questions remain.

It is the story of a shunned noble, played by Dennis Price, who seeks to inherit the title of Duke by murdering the eight D’Ascoyne family members (all played by Alec Guinness) who lie ahead of him in the line of succession. Applauded for its satire on class and sexual repression, it was ranked at number six in the BFI’s Top 100 British Films in 1999.
