Early in the writing process for Prometheus, Jon Spaihts and Ridley Scott envisioned that there may be 8 different kinds of Xenomorphs on the Alien Derelict Ship on LV-426. The idea would go unused, yet the notion of various strains of Xenomorphs on the ship is intriguing. What could the different strains be? What did they look like, and what were their functions?
