Action, Comedy, and Chaos Return in Mission: Cross 2

Action, Comedy, And Chaos Return In Mission Cross 2

Kang-mu and Mi-seon are back for more action and laughs in the Netflix film Mission: Cross 2, the sequel to the hit action-comedy that topped Netflix’s Global Top 10 Movies (Non-English) list just three days after its 2024 release and ranked among the Top 10 in 43 countries by its second week.

Hwang Jung-min reprises his role as Kang-mu, a former special ops agent enjoying a quiet life after the events of Mission: Cross. But peace doesn’t last long when the President calls on him to recover a stolen national treasure, pulling him and his wife, Mi-seon, into their most dangerous mission yet. Yum Jung-ah is also back in her role as Mi-seon, former Asian Games shooting silver medalist turned skilled detective. After a sudden demotion to a seaside provincial station, Mi-seon seizes the chance to return to action — and teaming up with her husband once again means sparks will fly both on and off the field.

Directed and written once again by Lee Myung-hoon, Mission: Cross 2 promises bigger action, perfectly balanced comedy, and a brand new mission: a national treasure heist recovery with so much more on the line. Alongside the iconic duo, returning cast members Jung Man-sik, Cha Rae-hyung, and Lee Ho-cheol are joined by an exciting lineup of new faces.

Yoon Kyung-ho (The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call) joins as Cheon In-hak, the head of a shadowy organization targeting cultural treasures. Im Seong-jae (Hellbound Season 2) appears as Duchil, a black-market dealer known as the “connoisseur of the tomb-raiding world.” Cha In-pyo (What Happened to Mr. Cha?) stars as the President who enlists the couple for their mission, and Kim Kuk-hee (Sweet Home) plays his sharp and loyal Chief of Staff.

With its beloved leads back in action, new faces joining the fray, and a high-stakes cultural heritage heist recovery, Mission: Cross 2 is set to deliver more thrills, humor, and heart, only on Netflix.
