Blu-ray Sales: January 14-20

For the week that ended on January 20th, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s Trolls Band Together debuted on top of the Blu-ray-only and overall packaged media charts. The family film sequel finds main characters Branch and Poppy on a mission to rescue Branch’s brother Floyd, who has been kidnapped. The film opened in November 2023 to mixed reviews and just managed to crack $100 million at the domestic box office, with its $205 million global haul considerably better than the pandemic-impacted 2020 release of Trolls World Tour, but still significantly less than the $347 million gross of the original Trolls in 2016. This week, Trolls Band Together had a healthy HD share of 61%, but just 7% of units sold from the 4K UHD format…
