ITV announce Spring 2025 programme highlights

Brand new dramas, reality juggernauts, live sporting events and a host of the nation’s favourite entertainment shows are coming to ITV1, ITVX, STV & STV Player this spring.

Rose Ayling-Ellis leads the charge in ground-breaking six-part crime drama, Code of Silence, Celebrity Big Brother welcomes a host of new famous faces to the most iconic house in the UK and Britain’s Got Talent goes live every weekend.

Malpractice is back for a second series, cult classics Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and LOST are ready to be streamed on ITVX, as brand new shows Genius Game, Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure and Joanna Lumley’s Danube round up an exciting few months on ITV.

Brand new entertainment show The Assembly welcomes stars Gary Linekar, David Tennant, Jade Thirlwall and Danny Dyer as they are questioned by a remarkable group of inquisitive interviewers who are autistic, neurodivergent and/or learning disabled.

Rose Ayling-Ellis stars in a ground-breaking lead role alongside an impressive supporting cast, including Kieron Moore, Charlotte Ritchie, and Andrew Buchan for new ITV drama, Code of Silence.

The gripping six-part crime drama is created by Catherine Moulton (Baptiste, Then You Run, Hijack), who drew on her own experiences with lip-reading and hearing loss to craft this unique and compelling series. It is brought to life by lead director Diarmuid Goggins (Kin, Black Cab, Witness No. 3).

New dramas continue with Series Two of Malpractice as the critically acclaimed medical thriller returns, alongside a brand new series of Grace and Ridley.

This spring Britain’s Got Talent goes live! The auditions of the nation’s most beloved talent show come to a close and the show now goes LIVE every Saturday night to find this year’s winner who will get a life changing £250,000 and a spot on the bill of the prestigious Royal Variety Performance.

Brand-new game show, 99 to Beat, produced by Initial (part of Banijay UK) is coming to ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.

Already successful in seven countries with multiple series in Germany, The Netherlands, Norway and Poland, 99 To Beat is the game show that anyone can win, but there’s one rule that players must follow if they’re to be in with a chance of walking away with the cash prize – Don’t. Come. Last.

Hosted by brothers Adam and Ryan Thomas, the eight-part series starts with 100 contestants, and viewers will follow as players go head-to-head in a range of visually distinctive and often hilarious games. After each round, the number of players is gradually whittled down, with only one person taking the top prize.

Entertainment shows The Assembly, 99 To Beat, Genius Game and The 1% Club will all feature on ITV1 & ITVX in the coming months, alongside Soccer Aid and a plethora of acquisitions from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to LOST.

ITV’s award winning factual stream showcases Ellie Simmonds: Should I have Children?, Joanna Lumley’s Danube, a new series of Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace and Olivia Attwood returns with a second series of Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection on ITV2 and ITVX.

The reality juggernaut, Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, returns this spring on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player.

A new batch of VIPs are preparing to embark on the original social experiment, taking up residence in the Big Brother house, which has moved to a brand-new secret location for the forthcoming instalment.

Reality television on ITV reigns supreme with a brand new series of the OG dating show Love Island returning in the summer and a look at one of Cheshire’s best loved and longest standing housewives Tanya Bardsley, who will also be lifting the lid on the chaos of her home life in the hilarious new reality format The Bardsley Bunch.

For over 50 years Noel Edmonds ruled the radio waves and Saturday night TV, but in 2018 he turned his back on it all and travelled eleven and a half thousand miles to build a brand new life in New Zealand with his wife Liz in Noel Edmonds’ Kiwi Adventure.

ITV continues to be the home of free-to-air sport with some of the biggest sporting events this spring, with four matches for the England senior women’s team, the England Senior Men’s FIFA 2026 World Qualifiers, The Emirates FA Cup and the 2025 UEFA Nations League Final.
