ITVX will launch The Family Next Door, a six part drama that explores the challenges of motherhood, marriage, friendship and the complexities of family identity, on 21st December 2025 just in time for the festive break.
Based on New York Times bestselling author Sally Hepworth’s novel of the same name, The Family Next Door tells the story of enigmatic Isabelle (Teresa Palmer, The Clearing) who moves into a small seaside cul-de-sac where her obsessive drive to solve a mystery casts suspicion on four neighbouring families. Her quest to reunite one family will have consequences for them all.
The Family Next Door is directed by Emma Freeman (Interview with the Vampire) and also stars a stellar ensemble cast including Catherine McClements (The Survivors), Ming Zhu Hii (La Brea), Jane Harber (Offspring), Bob Morley (The 100), Daniel Henshall (Snowtown), Tane Williams Accra (Fantasy Island), Dominic Ona Riki (One Lane Bridge) and Maria Angelico (Strife).
