This beginner’s guide masterclass explores the key elements involved in developing a TV series – creating compelling characters to carry the story through multiple episodes, exploring genre and story world, understanding structure and formatting and crafting a series bible and the pilot episode – using examples from some of your favourite shows.

Presented by Theresa Boden, writer, story development & script consultant and educator. Theresa supports award-winning writers, directors, and production companies in various formats – shorts, TV and Features. Her work as a tutor/mentor includes Screen Arts Institute, Glasgow Film & BFI Future Film Academy; MA Screenwriting and Film programmes at London’s UAL, Birkbeck University, Met Film School; and Script Development Workshops for Euroscript and BECTU.
